Mr. [Reza] Amrollahi, the person in charge of the Atomic Energy [Organization], came and asked about the lack of budget and the work of the opposition. We talked about the doctor who offered to cooperate yesterday and claims to be a high-level expert. Mrs. Shahid Rajaei came and said about the weaknesses of the Ministry of Education and Mr. Parvesh personally; But he didn't have much arithmetic and was repetitive. [Mr. Saeed al-Zhakrin], the public relations officer [of the Islamic Council], came and talked about the work. Mr. [Ali] Qaemi came and consulted about traveling to Gilangarb and strengthening Mr. [Mortaza] Mahmoudi in the second round of elections.

In the afternoon, Mr. Seyyed Mohammadreza Beheshti and Masih Mohajeri came. It was about the [Islamic Republic] party. They were worried about the one-dimensionality and the control of the conservatives over the affairs of the party and the exclusion of young active forces, and they raised the possibility of leaving [the party]. I told them to stay and through Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei, efforts should be made to adjust.

In the evening, Mr. [Akbar] Poresh [Minister of Education] and a group of teachers came. I talked to them about the value of education and character of Mr. Motahari. Mr. [Mohammad Mehdi] Rabbani Amlashi came; He was worried about opposition to his credentials from the radical leftists in the parliament, and he appealed. Colonel Tarabi [from the Imam's advisory office in the army] came and told about the weakness and deviation of the joint staff of the army and about the weakness of the commander of the naval force and suggested a replacement.

Imam Juma came to one of the Sunni cities of Khorasan and asked for a car. We had a meeting with the Prime Minister, Engineer Mousavi; Due to the lack of coordination with the president and low budget, he proposed to resign and change the cabinet. I disagreed and said that an understanding should be created. But if the next parliament is not good with him, I consider it logical to resign. Of course, apparently it will not happen. We decided to take action to complete the cabinet and create understanding.

Mr. Behbahani came from Ahvaz and complained to Mr. Damghani. At night, there was a meeting at the house of the president [Ayatollah Khamenei]. We agreed on the completion of the cabinet. We agreed with Mr. Nobri's return to Iran - which he requested. General issues of the country were also discussed; Including the arrest of a number of members of the Armenian secret army [Dashnak] who have attempted to assassinate Turks and are causing disruption in our foreign policy.
