I woke up at 2:25 in the morning to eat suhoor and woke up Efat, Fati, Mahdi and Yasir. I slept at half past three, after Suhoor and prayers. We came to the parliament at seven o'clock. There was nothing important in the reports.

The bill of village councils was on the order of the parliament. I stayed in the meeting until half past ten. I came to my office. It was decided not to take a breath during the meetings of the holy month of Ramadan and to end twenty minutes at noon when some of the representatives reach the mosques.

Mr. Mohsen Rezaei said that last night the enemy attacked and defeated and took some prisoners. In Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei's office, we had a meeting for the Supreme War Support Staff. We amended the statute. I had two meetings in the afternoon: [Mr. Mohammad Hassan Akhtar] our new ambassador in Syria and the representative of Urmia.

In the evening, Mr. Younisi and Razini, members of the front court, came. I did not see any progress in their work. A report was received from Lebanon including information about the Islamic Jihad and other groups in Lebanon, as well as work possibilities and needs. Colonel [Mohammad Hossein] Jalali, Minister of Defense, came. He talked about his work problems and expressed his desire to step down and be replaced by Mr. Sayad. I went home after breaking the fast.
