We went to Saad Abad from the home of Efat and flew by helicopter to visit the Kehrizak disabled asylum. Mr. Qomi, the director of the sanatorium, explained. A group of people from nearby villages had also gathered. We sang a eulogy at the grave of Dr. Hakimzadeh, the founder of the center. We visited workshops, resorts and different departments; Kahrizak has about a thousand clients and they are well managed. Most are women. A group of women from Tehran came to help voluntarily. People bathe and clean the earthling; I was impressed by their spirit.
The disabled were very satisfied. In the briefing session, the chairman of the board of directors said welcome and Mr. Qomi explained. The board of trustees is formed by my friends and colleagues before the revolution. They manage with the help of people. I did an interview. I gave a speech to the staff and encouraged them.
We returned to the office at eleven o'clock. Mohsen came in the afternoon and gave a report on the investigation of the air accident. He wanted me to tell Nahaja [= Army Air Force] to cooperate better. In the evening, the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution had a meeting. The educational policy as well as the use of mosques for cultural affairs by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance was approved.
Iftar with ministers and members of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, we were guests of the parliament. After the congregational prayer and breaking the fast, I answered the many requests of the representatives. I returned to the office and then home.
