I was at home. For the Eid holidays, I have brought home enough from the backlog of last year's work and the annual reports of executive bodies to fill the free time. I haven't read some of the reports because of the four-day trip.

The news came that there was another flood in Sistan and caused damage. I was impressed and ordered help.

They called from the leadership office that the usual weekly meeting will be held tonight. I said that I will not participate due to the release of bodyguards during the holidays. We also closed the meeting tomorrow night.

In the reports, the news of conflicts inside Iraq is at the top. The control of the Kurdistan region is out of the hands of the government, but it is dominant in the south, but the conflicts continue. Iraq has announced that Ayatollah Khoei has returned to Najaf.

Saddam has restored the government. [Sadoun] Hammadi - Shia - became the prime minister and Tariq Aziz lost the position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Probably because of his being a Christian and pretending to Islam.

In the evening, relatives came to see Eid. The children wanted to go from Kish to the countries south of the Persian Gulf; I told them not to go and return to Tehran.
