We were at the guest house until eight in the morning. I listened to foreign and domestic radio news. I went to the artillery center. I spoke at the joint morning ceremony of the armed forces. We saw the artillery observation training simulator. I went to Havaniroz and visited the helicopter repair center and maneuver of about seventy helicopters. We went to their training center and saw the non-working simulator. I was impressed that this important educational tool has not been launched after ten years since the revolution. I told Mr. [Ali] Jannati to follow up.

In a ceremony at the amphitheater hall, I gave awards to distinguished graduates and professors. I was at the base guest house for lunch, rest and prayer. A group of political ideological students came. They gave warnings and told about the problems of the force.

We returned to the governor's guesthouse. I participated in the meeting of the council of provincial officials. Two or three managers told the problems and needs and I spoke to them in detail. Mr. Sabbagh, Director General of Agriculture, came. He gave 1 million tomans to help the farmers to the front. We went to Seyed Mosque and I spoke at the gathering of people and the anniversary meeting of martyr [Hossein] Kharazi. On the way back, we went to Shah Abbas Hotel. I watched the halls and rooms and the courtyard of the hotel; It is interesting. At the handicrafts exhibition, I heard the pain of the artists regarding the problem of exporting their products; I was impressed and promised to help. I had dinner and wrote the memories and caught the news and slept.
