Mr. [Hamid] Mirzadeh came to report on earthquake issues and current affairs of the country. Mr. [Jalil] Basharti came to report the deprived areas. Mr. [Ishaq] Jahangiri, [Jiroft's representative] came and requested me to comfort Mr. [Mehdi] Karoubi, who is offended by the recent issues; I accepted The governor of Qazvin came and gave a report on the issues of the earthquake and relief and needs.
Dr. [Mohammed Ali] Najafi, [Minister of Education], came for the needs of education and to request building materials for schools to build volunteers, to help schools and to allow more employment, and he announced the preparation of a reform plan for secondary education in order to train technical personnel.
In the evening, I attended the meeting of the government board. Investigation of earthquake and transportation issues and international conferences were on the agenda. I worked in my office until nine in the evening and came home.
