Mr. [Syed Mohammad Bagher] Hakim came. He reported on the bad situation of Iraq, from the economic and security point of view, and asked to be included in the correspondence of Saddam, [the President of Iraq] and the possibility of direct negotiations; I told the flow. He complained about the lack of attention to the Badr Corps and the inactivity of the Iraq Support Committee and appealed to the leadership to implement the decisions.
