I read the reports until ten o'clock. It was time to watch TV. The coverage of the news of the summit is good and the Turkish media are not mischievous as usual. They are caught up in their own internal issues. The incident of Siyodeli and the operations of PKK Kurds have kept them busy. Mrs. [Tansou] Chiller, their Prime Minister, who received a vote of confidence the day before and was supposed to come to Istanbul to meet the guests, did not come under the pretext or because of these troubles, and maybe because of the idea that we will not receive her well.

At ten o'clock, a group of companions came. There was some discussion and analysis about the progress of the work of the summit. Everyone is satisfied and everyone is happy with the behavior of the President of Türkiye, especially at the banquet last night.

Mr. Mohsen Rezaei, [Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps] came. They talked about the future defense minister. We also talked about the [results] of the [presidential] elections; Mr. [Ahmad] Tawakli has severe criticism towards the state of propaganda and believes that he has managed this situation in a special way. In this regard, they have given a report to the leadership through Mr. Rahim Safavi. We discussed with Dr. Rouhani yesterday evening and today about the future cabinet that was discussed in yesterday's meeting.

The foreign ministers had been working since yesterday until today to reach an agreement on the final statement that we approved in this meeting. It was decided to have a joint bank in Türkiye and Pakistan, and an aviation, shipping and secretariat center in Iran. The countries of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan also wanted something that the sub-committees were supposed to be there.

Journalists came and asked Mr. Demirel, Nazarbayev, Karim F and me some questions, but Mr. Demirel ended the meeting early and no important and serious questions were asked. Of course, the reporters were also lethargic; Maybe because of the situation in Türkiye.

According to the previous appointment, we went to "Dolma Bakhchasi" mansion and boarded a pleasure boat. We had lunch on a ship moving in the Bosphorus strait as a guest of Mr. Demirel. During the move and at the dinner table with Mr. Demirel, who was always with me, we negotiated all the issues. I asked many questions about the situation in Türkiye, which he could not answer. In terms of politics and generalities, he is masterful and mature, but in terms of statistics and figures, he is not masterful like Mr. Turgut Ozal, who was well mastered. Women were not invited in this party to respect our status. They were already supposed to be.

He said that inflation in Türkiye is very high. In our previous trip, the equivalent value of one dollar was about four thousand Turkish liras, but now it is twelve thousand liras. The government raises wages by about five percent per month, but inflation is much higher than wage growth. They still give a lot of subsidies to many sectors, for example to agriculture, especially sugar, bread and electricity. The price of land and building is staggering; Although industries and construction are growing well and the private sector is active and tourism is extensive. They said that about eight million tourists come to Istanbul every year. We saw every huge dipole on the Bosphorus. He explained that to cross the bridge, more than one dollar tolls are charged. He did not have correct information about the capacity of ships to pass through the Bosphorus. He said that the depth of the Bosphorus is one hundred and fifty meters, which seems to be a mistake.

We returned to the hotel and rested until half past six. I read the reports. We went to the airport with a helicopter and left Turkey with military ceremonies and Mr. Demirel's official farewell. During the trip, the companions talked more about the good management of the summit and Türkiye's good dealings with Iran and putting them in stone.

I prayed Maghrib and Isha prayers on the plane and slept. We arrived in Mehrabad at 7:30 Tehran time. We were officially welcomed and after a short interview we came home. Chastity was still awake.
