At 8:30 AM, Dr. Velayati came to my house to seek a solution regarding the pressure exerted by revolutionary Muslim students abroad on certain ambassadors—including Mr. Navvab, Iran's ambassador to Germany. I told him that every effort should be made to support the students, but they must exercise restraint. He believed it was necessary for me to visit India.

Afterwards, Mr. [Mohammad-Hassan] Zoraq, Deputy of Political Affairs at IRIB, came to consult about his book, which is set for a reprint. I suggested several revisions. He expects me to write a preface for it, but I do not care for writing prefaces.

Mr. [Morteza] Alviri came to consult regarding a resolution to the issues facing the Mojahedin of the Islamic Revolution Organization concerning the relationship between the Hezbollah-aligned faction within the organization and Mr. [Hossein] Rasti [Kashani]. I offered some views on the matter. I spent a little time working with the greenery in the yard, did some reading, and wrote down my backlogged daily memoirs.

In the afternoon, Ahmad Aqa came and consulted with me about writing a history of the Imam's Movement based on the file SAVAK created on the Imam. The Imam's file consists of sixty volumes, containing perhaps the finest records and documents detailing the history of the Islamic Movement, as SAVAK attributed virtually all developments in one way or another to the Imam and placed them in his file. This file will contain notable disclosures and reveal key truths.
