I came to the parliament for meetings. I read news reports until half past nine in the morning. After a few days of patience and waiting and refraining from severe criticism of the US regarding the plan to escort oil ships, as expected, criticisms and stings are rising and in the US Congress and the British Parliament, they have said important words and even said that warships will be escorted by oil tankers, claiming that the show of strength is actually a show of weakness. They say the themes of our words.

Mr. [Mohammed Javad] Larijani [International and Economic Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs] came and gave a report on his trip to Pakistan and Russia. It is interesting to note that the President of Pakistan has agreed to let our agents interrogate the arrested hypocrites who were arrested in the case of attacks on their safe houses in Karachi and Kuwait and has agreed to hand over our [arrested] agents. In principle, the Russians have agreed to provide defense equipment in the south of Iran against the Americans, on the condition that we do not use it against Iraq. They are looking for an executive formula.

[Mr. Mousavi] came to work in Canada. He asked about the quality of Canada's apology for helping six Americans escape during the occupation of a US spy den in Iran. Mr. Khalilian, the governor of Qom, came. His two legs were cut off in the Khyber operation, and at the same time, he is a successful and cheerful governor. The families of the martyrs of the oil industry workers came. I spoke for them. Some of them said good things. Mr. [Reza] Amrollahi [head of the Atomic Energy Organization] came. He talked about atomic energy issues and complained about the investment organization and consulted in his work. In the evening, students left the front and came abroad. I gave them an extended speech. Mohsen was also with them. Mr. Qadri [Piranshahr representative] came. I emphasized that he and the Barzanis should gain the satisfaction of the IRGC.

The central council of the party [Islamic Republic] held a meeting for the party's property. It was decided that Mr. Khamenei and I would select two committees for the party's assets and documents. The night of the meeting of the heads of forces was in the office of Mr. Mousavi Ardabili. There was a discussion about controlling prices and how to distribute chicken. I believe that production should not be limited to the state [quota] of chicken [chicken] and the program should be such that people can use the chicken that they produce for production. The government's plan to control prices is different.
