I worked in my office until eight o'clock. The public meeting was organized under the influence of my Tuesday talks. A five-year plan was ordered. Some of the representatives opposed the government's bill because it was out of the nature of a program and it did not end. In the breath, five of the representatives were critical about my lack of decisive action, on the issue of the conflict between the representatives and [Waliullah] Zamani, the representative of Babylon.

Mr. [Manochehr] Mutaki, our ambassador in Türkiye, came and gave a good report from there and the Turkish military's opposition to Islam in front of the Prime Minister. Mr. Bahrami came from The Hague and gave a report on the situation of the Hague court. He is worried about the claims of Iranians with dual citizenship.

In the evening, the [executive officials] of the foreign headquarters came to Fajr. I gave a speech for them. Mr. Iraqi, the deputy of Mr. [Fazlullah] Mahalati in the IRGC, came and talked about the war and the IRGC. Mr. [Reza] Amrollahi [head of the Atomic Energy Organization] came and consulted about the quality of negotiations with the French delegation that is supposed to come for our loan and demand.

At night Mr. [Kazim] Khansari, our ambassador, came from Libya and brought the message of [Muammar] Gaddafi [Libyan leader] that he is worried about the threat of America and Israel. He wants us to end the war with Iraq, on the condition that the forces of the two countries go to war with Israel.
