I came to the assembly in the evening. Mr. Mahdinejad came and gave a report on the negotiation with American agents following the exchange of American hostages. They assigned the work to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and dismissed the former people. A deep difference has emerged between the leaders of America. They cannot implement the previous plan. They spend time so that communication is not interrupted. They deal from a position of weakness.
In the evening, we were the guests of Ayatollah Khamenei and Mr. Sadegh al-Mahdi. [Prime Minister of Sudan] explained the situation in Sudan. Regarding the war, it was decided to work on setting up a court to try Saddam as the aggressor and responsible for starting the war. We decided to form a special commission for bilateral relations. I arrived home late.
