Early in the morning, I went to the parliament. In the public session, several agendas were carried out until the break. Before noon, Mr. [Ali] Shamkhani [Deputy Commander of the IRGC] came, and the future operations were discussed. At noon, I also had two or three meetings. I went to the assembly early in the morning. In the public meeting, several orders were made until the time of breathing. Before noon, Mr. [Ali] Shamkhani [deputy commander of the IRGC] came and talked about future operations. I had two or three meetings in the afternoon.

In the evening, I went to the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. Mr. President was absent for part of the meeting and I managed it. A report was given about the difference between the students and the president of Tarbiat Moalem University, and we discussed and made a decision. The presidents of Tehran, Isfahan and Hamadan universities were also elected.

At night, I discussed with Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei about the Islamic Republic newspaper. The newspaper belongs to the party and is run by Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei and Mr. [Masih] Mohajeri, and it is objected to by some of the members of the party's central council. Differences are linear.

I commented that it is not expedient to change the management of the newspaper. Ayatollah Khamenei also agrees, but they consider it necessary to somehow control the contents of the newspaper. I suggested that one person should be introduced to jointly manage with Mr. [Masih] Mohajeri and refer to his arbitration in cases of dispute. Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei agrees with this proposal, but it is unlikely that Mr. Mohajeri will accept. I went to the assembly for dinner and sleep. I slept late.
