We had a public meeting. I talked a little about the recent victory and I congratulated the martyrdom of two security guards of the parliament and the brother of Mr. [Dr. Hossein] Mehrpour, a member of the Guardian Council, and the brother of Mr. [Hossein] Kamali, a member of the parliament. Two bills were passed by the second vote and the discussion was in the rules of the parliament.

After prayer, I studied for two hours. Mr. [Mohammed] Emami Kashani came and while presenting a report of his meeting with Ayatollah Golpaygani, he said that he was influenced by the position of some members of the parliament against him. Regarding the reply letter of the representatives, he suggested not to send the letter, but today they signed the letter to send it.

In the afternoon, Mr. [Mohammed Ali] Hadi, [Sabah] Zanganeh, and [Mohammed] Khatami came. We discussed the future of Iraq. Mr. [Reza] Zawari also came and asked for help for the problem of his brothers. In the evening, Mrs. Abbasi, one of the sisters of the party, came and gave an interview about Hazrat Zahra (pbuh) and the duties of women.

I participated in the meeting of the central council of the party. Mr. [Ahmed] Tawakli, Minister of Labor, came and explained about his plans and asked for help from the party to do his work well. He relied on the necessity of Islamic decisions and, among other things, he was against the participation of workers in the management council. I came home earlier than usual at night.
