Memoirs of Akbar Hashemi – April 23, 1982

I stayed at home. I went to university for Friday prayers. I was alone at home for lunch and I ate ready. Walking, exercising and studying filled my time. In the [Friday] prayer sermons, I talked about the coup, the marriage of martyrs' wives, economic issues, and Israel's attack on Lebanon.  

Asr Ahmad Agha came and talked about the popular propaganda against Mr. Shariatmadari and informed him that the Imam today sent Mr. [Sheikh Hassan] Sanee to Mr. Shariatmadari and assured him that he will not be prosecuted, but they gave him a warning.

At night, the army officials came. They are dissatisfied with the statute discussed in the parliament and were looking for a solution. They calmed down with a little negotiation, but they were not convinced, and they also said not to trust the statements of the mediators of the conference; It may be a scam. On the way to Friday prayer, my car had an accident and the radiator was punctured.
