Full Text of the Daily Notes:

I was studying at home and in my office; the bulletins from the Strategic Research Center [of the Expediency Council] were focused on global trade, the situation in Iraq, the news of a bomb explosion by Iraq at the end of the imposed war, and the Kyoto Protocol [for reducing greenhouse gas emissions], from which the U.S. has recently withdrawn. In the morning, news was published that Hamas and Fatah had conditionally agreed to a ceasefire within the territories of Israel, but it was denied in the evening.

Foreign media broadcast a statement from a Zoroastrian priest who protested a fatwa from the leadership regarding the inheritance rights of a Muslim heir from a deceased Zoroastrian. There has been much debate regarding a letter from Engineer [Izatollah] Sahabi, [the editor of Iran-e-Farda magazine], from prison to his family, in which he once again admitted to his deviations and asked his family not to unjustly deny him; the Second Khordad faction and foreign media have cast doubt on the authenticity of the letter. Election campaigning has intensified, leading to clashes between supporters of the candidates and instances of violence.
