زن و عشق در شاهنامه

It is these women who have given life and color to the tragic story. If it wasn't for Tahmina, Sohrab's death wouldn't have been so effective and sad. This is how Froud's death would have happened if it wasn't for Jarireh, and Siavash's death if it wasn't for Feringis, and Esfandiar's death if it wasn't for Ketayoun, and Rostam's death and Zal's tragedy if it wasn't for Rudabah. The tragic image of a woman in the Shahnameh appears in the most noble and pure way, that is, as a mother and wife, not as a lover.

Shahnameh is not an anti-woman book, contrary to what is known to unfamiliar people. In the entire era of Pahlavi, except for Sudabah, a worthless woman is not seen. Most of the women in Shahnameh are clear examples of perfect women. While having wisdom and magnanimity, they also benefit from the essence of femininity and beauty. Even women who are foreigners because they join Iran, become Iranian from the bottom of their hearts and take the good side that is Iran's side.
