Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani's 1989 August 6 newspaper is related to the election of the head of the Majlis of Experts and also the voting to convert Khamenei's temporary leadership into a permanent one.

The important point of this newspaper is that Khamenei was elected temporarily according to the old constitution and of course Khomeini's letter to the then head of the constitutional revision committee for changing the conditions of the leader. And by conducting the constitutional amendment referendum and approving it in this meeting, he was elected as the permanent leader of the Islamic Republic.
