Hashemi cried and asked me for forgiveness, and said, "I was the cause of your arrest
Hashemi said that he had arrested me at the instigation of Mohammad Yazdi
Abbas Palizdar told Iran Watch about his revelations against Hashemi Rafsanjani's family in the 1990s:
Mr. Hashemi was the only person who could legally sue me, but they did not file a complaint. Because I had talked about them without any evidence. Later, when I went to Mr. Hashemi, he cried and asked me to be halal. Mr. Hashemi cried so much that his cloak fell off his shoulders.
What else did Mr. Hashemi say at that meeting?
I said to him, "Haj sir, why do you ask for halal? I have to ask for a solution. I have taken your honor. Do you know how much my words had a negative impact on you and your family? If I had investigated the case, it would have nothing to do with you or your family.
Mr. Hashemi said, "No, I am not lying to you, it was our mistake."
I said, "Haj sir, I know who he is."
He said, "Now that you know, yes, it is Mr. Yazdi. He put a lot of pressure on you, as the head of the Assembly of Experts and the head of the Expediency Council, to write a letter to the head of the judiciary or to contact him. I called the Head of the Judiciary and the Minister of Intelligence and told him to arrest him.
