متن کامل پرسش و پاسخ فاکس‌نیوز و ترامپ درباره ایران

In an interview with Fox News, Trump stressed that he would prefer to reach an agreement with Iran rather than take military action.

Trump: Iran would like to reach a deal

▫️A Fox News reporter asked Trump: "Do you think there is a possibility of a deal with Iran?"

Trump:

Yes. I think we will make a deal on Iran. I give such a preference. A lot of people think that we or Israel are going to bomb Iran with our help or approval, [while] Israel needs our [military help] [to attack Iran].

Everyone needs us. We have the necessary weapons. We have the power to do it. We have things that no other country has. So they need us.

I'd rather it didn't happen. I would prefer to have a monitored, vetted, and inspected agreement with Iran, as long as possible, to blow up [military nuclear facilities] or to ensure that there is no longer a nuclear [military] capability.

▫️The Fox News correspondent said: "A better deal than Obama's nuclear deal!"

Trump:

It is the stupidest deal and the stupidest path to a nuclear weapon that has ever expired. [The JCPOA] was a short-term agreement. The agreement cannot be limited to a few years. This contract so far.

Iran is militant. Iran or any other country cannot be allowed (to acquire nuclear weapons). They cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons.

There are two ways to stop them (from acquiring nuclear weapons). With a bomb or with a written document. I would prefer to make an agreement that does not harm them. I think they want the same thing.

Iran is very worried and very intimidated because their defenses are almost destroyed. Maybe they are trying to get new air defense at the same time that we are interviewing. They've had a very bad time.

The explosion of the pagers of Lebanese Hizbullah members was a disaster for Iran and killed many of its leaders.

Iran is very anxious and frightened. I think Iran would like to reach an agreement. I would like to make a deal with them without bombing."
