Demis Hassabis, a computer scientist and artificial intelligence researcher and CEO of Google DeepMind, who was one of the best chess players in the world, won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his research and findings on protein structure.

At the age of 13, he became the world chess grandmaster and captained the English junior team in various events.
