Mohammad Dadkan, the former president of the Football Federation, told Iran Watch about the reasons for not completing the Azadi Stadium: "It is a real contradiction that the Azadi Stadium will be prepared by the end of December. Azadi Stadium will never host like before."
Dadkan clarified: "They do not allow tens of thousands of people to enter. How many tens of thousands of people are allowed to come and chant slogans? They are preparing for a maximum of 20 thousand people. This stadium will never be the same again."/Iran Watch
