Maryam Toosi, our country's sprinter in the U.S. Track and Field Championships in the 200-meter event, succeeded in recording a time of 23.60 seconds, while winning the first title of this competition, and improving the national record of 200 meters inside Iran.
Previously, Maedeh Chavoshizadeh held the record for this event with a time of 25.40 seconds in 2003.
