The appointment orders for 21 university presidents have been approved / "Allameh" and "Kharazmi" remain unresolved!

The appointment of 21 university and research institute presidents was confirmed in the meeting of the committee for selecting the presidents of universities of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.The sixty-fifth meeting of the committee for selecting university presidents was held on Sunday, June 8, under the chairmanship of Sheikh Abdal Hossein Khoshrounakh, the secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, with the presence of Hossein Simaei Sarraf, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Zafrandi, Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, Rostami, Head of the Leadership Institution in Universities, Mohammad Mahdi Tehranchi, President of Azad Islamic University, and Mohammad Reza Makbardzafooli, member of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.

Referring to the decisions made in universities affiliated with the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, he said:

-Dr. Mohammad Ismail Qeydari for the presidency of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, -Dr. Zamen Salehi Far for the presidency of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, -Dr. Babak Pezeshki for the presidency of Fasa University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, -Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Salehi Behbahani for the presidency of Abadan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, -Dr. Abbas Ghaisouri for the presidency of Ilam University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, -Dr. Shoeleh Shah Ghaibi for the presidency of Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, -Dr. Abdoljavad Khajavi Moghaddam for the presidency of Gonabad University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, -Dr. Ali Soroush for the presidency of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences and Health Services have successfully obtained the vote of confidence from the Supreme Cultural Revolution Council.

He pointed to the decisions made in universities and institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, stating:- Dr. Seyyed Mahmoud Rabei for the presidency of Noshirvani University of Technology in Babol,- Dr. Mohammad Javad Dehghani for the presidency of Shiraz University of Technology,- Dr. Jafar Ghanbari Alanq for the presidency of Qom University of Technology,- Dr. Morteza Bakhtiari for the presidency of Khorramshahr Marine Science and Technology University,- Dr. Homayoun Morad Nejad for the presidency of Ilam University,- Dr. Saeed Karami Dekhordi for the presidency of Shahrekord University,- Dr. Ali Hossein Hosseinzadeh for the presidency of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz,- Dr. Saeed Bastani for the presidency of the Institute of Color Research,- Dr. Mehrdad Dadstani for the presidency of Lorestan University,- Dr. Hamid Havali Shahriari for the presidency of the Organization for the Study and Compilation of University Books in Islamic and Human Sciences (SAMT),- Dr. Ali Khorsandi Taskoh for the presidency of the Institute for Research and Planning in Higher Education,- Dr. Sadegh Samirjani for the presidency of Nishapur University,- Dr. Kamand Amini Hosseini for the presidency of the International Institute of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering.They successfully received votes of confidence from the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.

Also, Dr. Alireza Firoozfar received a vote of confidence from the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution for the presidency of Islamic Azad University of Tehran Province and Tehran Unit.With the confirmation of these appointments, the status of the presidents of most universities in the country has been determined by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution; however, Allameh Tabatabai University and Kharazmi University remain in an uncertain state.
