The school hours have changed.

 The Deputy Office of Planning and Resource Development issued a notice regarding the start time of offices, schools, and student exams. According to Shafaqna from the Information and Public Relations Center of the Ministry of Education, based on the resolution of the esteemed Council of Ministers concerning the amendment of the official time of the country and in order to optimize energy consumption and reduce the existing imbalance, the Deputy Office of Planning and Resource Development has issued a notice regarding the start time of education offices, schools, and exams, which is as follows;

1) The official working hours will be from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and if needed, any shortage in the working hours of the colleagues will be based on the provisions of the remote work regulation as per decision number 44726/76481 dated July 7, 2010.

2) The working hours of schools, both first and second shifts, will be from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

a) In one-shift schools, students will be able to attend from 6 AM to 1 PM, and the scheduling will be the responsibility of the school. b) In two-shift schools, the first shift will operate from 6 AM to 9:30 AM and the second shift (afternoon) will operate from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.

3) Examination schedule for secondary education: a) All final exams for 11th and 12th grade students will be held from May 17, 2025 to June 11, 2025, and all tests will take place in the morning session at the times announced by the Center for Evaluation and Quality Assurance of the Education System. b) The 10th grade exam will be held internally, and three subjects from the 9th grade will be held in a coordinated manner in the morning session.
