Dr. Gholamhossein Sedighi Award Awarded to 6 Professors of Social Sciences

The fifth ceremony of awarding the Social Sciences Medal entitled "Dr. Gholamhossein Sedighi's Medal" was held by the Iranian Sociological Association and with the accompaniment of the country's academic and scientific institutions on Monday in the Ibn Khaldun Hall of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Tehran, and by awarding this medal, the scientific, educational and research services and efforts of "Dr. Hadi Khaniki" and five professors of social sciences were honored.

The meeting was attended by a group of prominent scientific figures and university professors such as Hadi Khaniki, Ali Rabiei, Seyyed Hossein Serajzadeh, Susan Bastani, Maghsoud Farasatkhah, Siamak Zand Razavi, Younes Shokrkhah, and Mohammad Mirzaei, who was also the guest of this scientific and social event.

In this ceremony, the Social Sciences Medal was awarded to Dr. Susan Bastani, Dr. Seyed Hossein Serajzadeh, Dr. Maghsoud Farasatkhah, Dr. Siamak Zand Razavi, Dr. Mohammad Mirzaei, and Dr. Hadi Khaniki.
The Social Sciences Medal, Honoring the Scientific and Civic Status of Professors Saeed Moeidfar, the President of the Sociological Association, stated in this ceremony: The first medal of the Social Sciences Association of the country was awarded to Dr. Gholam Abbas Tavassoli after 1979 and the Cultural Revolution, who played an important role in preserving and protecting the social sciences and establishing and preferring the Sociological Association of the country.
