Hamid Reza Haji Esfandiari, Lawyer for the Victim's Relatives: The judges of the fifth branch of the criminal court in Tehran province sentenced the first accused to death for premeditated murder and the second accused to 25 years in prison for complicity in murder and armed robbery after the trial of the two main defendants in the case. The case was sent to the Supreme Court following the objections of the defendants and their lawyers, and the judges of the 17th branch of the Supreme Court confirmed the decision of the criminal court. The victim's relatives are still demanding the execution of the murderer.
