یادداشت دکتر مصطفی معین وزیر وقت فرهنگ و آموزش عالی با عنوان «سوته دلان» در مورد حوادث ۱۸ تیر کوی دانشگاه تهران در کانال تلگرامی شان

"Sotedalan!"
"Let's get together
Let's talk and be sad
Let's take a scale and weigh the sorrows
"The more we sweat, the heavier we come"

This is a sad picture from Friday night, July 9, 1999, in the basement of Tehran University, around 10-11 pm!

I am sitting among the homeless students of the dormitory, with broken and injured hands and heads, insulted and humiliated, and their houses and houses were set on fire! Staying with the students and supporting them in that riot was the least I could do for sympathy and consolation, to invite my children to be patient and calm before the bloodthirsty of the Mongol people!

It was 12 o'clock at night when the sound of gunshots was heard, and the news was given that a person had been killed in front of the door of Koi, he was Ezzat Ebrahimnejad.

This crime became a spark in that dark night of disaster for my decision to resign from the ministry! That is, the most severe protest in support of the beaten and innocent students and the defense of the privacy of the orphaned and oppressed university!

The tragedy of Tehran University and Tabriz University, the martyrdom of Ezzat Ebrahimnejad, the unknown fate of students like Fereshte Alizadeh, the moans of Saeed Zinali's mother and father [Where is my Saeed!] and... it is a heat that continues to put pressure on my soul and soul!

"It is a hot love that will not leave until death comes
Anyone who has a mark on his face."
