 The Khuzestan Water and Wastewater Company issued a statement about the shooting incident at the water facilities in the city of Chamran, announcing that the incident is under investigation by law enforcement and judicial authorities.

The Public Relations of the Khuzestan Water and Wastewater Company announced in a statement on Tuesday about the shooting incident in the water facilities of Chamran city: "We would like to inform the honorable people of Bandar Mahshahr and Chamran city that this bitter incident has caused the impact and discomfort of the community, especially our colleagues in the Khuzestan Water and Sewerage Company, and we wish patience for their dear families."

The announcement reads: "This afternoon, three employees of the water service of Mahshahr and Chamran ports were hit by a bullet while visiting the sewage facilities of Chamran city, as a result of which two people died and one person was transferred to the hospital."

The announcement continues: "This incident occurred due to a dispute between the attacker, which is being immediately investigated by the law enforcement and judicial agencies, and the rumor that two Abfa colleagues were killed in their office is not true."
