Details of Another Doctor’s Suicide Due to Work Pressure

The news of Dr. Farshad Derakhsh’s suicide, an orthopedic resident at Taleghani Hospital in Kermanshah, has caused a wave of sorrow among social media users. This tragic event once again highlights the issue of workplace pressures and harassment in hospitals.

 Dr. Derakhsh took his own life after enduring extreme work pressure and environmental harassment in the hospital. He had previously suffered from similar issues and even attempted to resign last year, but his request was denied. He was forced to work 30 consecutive 24-hour shifts, which was not only illegal but also humanly unbearable.
