From Death Threats by Neighbors to Sexual Harassment / Students' Horrific Narrative of the Security of Several Government Dormitories in Tehran

 In a report, the Hammihan newspaper referred to the life of the students in the dormitory;

The space around the dormitories in the university's city center, which are located between Vesal and Quds streets and on side streets, is still "dead night" and unsafe. Students are always worried that the extortionists around their dormitories will humiliate them.

The dormitory is located between Rashid Sani Alley, between Vahdat Eslami Street and Vali-e-Asr Street, a newly built building with 36 suites and a capacity of 400 students, the dormitory of Amir Kabir students, all of whose residents have completed the eighth semester of the university, and the university has decided to send them to its farthest dormitory, somewhere between engine factories, mechanics, spare parts, abandoned houses, drug dealers, the smell of drugs, and death threats from neighbors.

The girls' dormitory of the University of Tehran is also a few stations above the university dormitory, and when it gets dark, students prefer not to go out alone. Narratives of humiliation and sexual harassment in this area circulate by word of mouth among students.
