Haeri Shirazi: The Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist has no jurisprudential basis.

Most jurists and well-known scholars consider the authority of the Islamic jurist to be limited to collecting and distributing khums (a form of religious tax).

A significant percentage of the people did not vote for the current constitution.
