After the disclosure of Abdi Media, Canada sanctioned Morteza Talai, the former commander of the Tehran Police Force
After this disclosure, Talai had threatened the responsible manager of Abdi Media
Following the sanctions against the Islamic Republic, the Canadian government sanctioned a number of current and former commanders of the police command and several companies and organizations affiliated to the government of the Islamic Republic.
Hassan Karmi, the commander of the Naja and Faraja special units, and Ali Qanatkar, the deputy public prosecutor of Tehran and the former investigator of the 33rd District Prosecutor's Office of Tehran (Evin) are among those sanctioned.
The name of Morteza Talai, the former police chief of Greater Tehran, whose pictures were published by Abdi Media in a mixed fitness club in Canada, is among the banned people.
After the release of this video, Talai also threatened Abdollah Abdi, the director of the independent media Abdi Media.
Safiran Airport Services Company and Baharestan Kish Company were also sanctioned due to their role in the transfer of drones and equipment to Russia.
These two companies were previously on the sanctions list of the US Treasury.
