If there had been no war, our fate would have been different, because we would have witnessed fundamental changes on the part of the people.

Taghi Azad Aramaki, sociologist:

If there had been no war, our fate would have been different, because we were witnessing fundamental changes on the part of the people. That is, we were witnessing a social movement beyond the Mahsa Movement and the Green Movement.

We were seventy or eighty social movements for reforms in the country, and we were not looking for collapse. The people were looking for reform. But when the war broke out, this situation was transferred to the post-war situation.

Of course, it is not the case that when there was a war, all the demands of the people ended and internal cohesion was formed and the state-nation was created.  This is not the case at all.  I declare danger.  If there is a war, we will find other problems.
