Is Tehran the place where the rebellion started?

Those who are talking in the four corners of Tehran informed us last night that "if the situation continues as it is, Tehran will be pregnant with a violent and blind rebellion. Hatred of the clergy knows no bounds. People are still calling the police force to support them, but not even a half-sentence talking about getting the support of the clerics is spoken by anyone. The anger from the high prices is indescribable. The government has understood this and has currently deployed a large number of forces in civilian clothes in different parts of Tehran, which are known with little precision."

Before the above forecast becomes a reality, will the government think of withdrawing from its policies of the past three decades in the country and reduce the widespread hatred of the people against the government?

This is the advice that three years ago, one of the closest clerics of Ayatollah Khomeini, who was also the deputy speaker of the parliament, recommended three years ago in a respectful letter addressed to the leader of the Islamic Republic and wrote that it is time to reconsider the policies of three decades. The past has arrived. That letter remained unreflected, and now Mustafa Mohaghegh Damad, who has deep-rooted credibility in the Qom seminary, said in a meeting with the members of the Andisheh and Qalam Association:
"Some people in power who have put themselves to sleep cannot be awakened, but there are many ignorant people in our society among whom public awareness can be created. Due to the poor performance of a few clerics, they abandoned the whole religion and this is ignorant.

The harm of our society is ignorant religiosity. For example, why during the eight years of imposed war with all the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans and the mass of the people, did no one of the officials doubt the continuation of the war and ask why this amount of war should be continued and were there less expensive ways to end the war? Today, we are obliged to have a hopeful conversation with the people and bring the rights and duties to the public arena. The only way to preserve the institution of religion is to not depend on the authority of the guardians of religion.

Clergy is more respectable and effective if it is the language of the people, and I believe that people still accept the words of a humble and pious cleric who has something to say. The culture of criticism and destigmatization of admitting mistakes and giving opportunities for compensation is a moral value; One of our mistakes in Iran has been refraining from criticizing the revolutionaries. By criticizing Mao, China succeeded in maintaining the respect of its leader and facilitating its movement towards development.

What is wrong with some people saying that we had such an idea before and now we have reached a different conclusion? This method creates intellectual and political growth and transformation.

It is possible to criticize some of their approaches while maintaining respect for the leaders of the revolution. Maybe some leaders' approaches were correct in their time, but they were not eternal and are not acceptable today. A charismatic approach to characters should not block the path of criticism and pathology.
