Referring to Mohammad Khatami's previous warning, reformist activist Morteza Alviri said, "Reforms have hit a rock, because the structures have not changed."

 Alviri, former mayor of Tehran:

At one point, Mr. Khatami said that reformism had hit a strong rock

We didn't believe it, we went the same way, we made our hearts happy

Then, with the approval of Pezeshian, there was a little hope, but now it seems that Mr. Khatami's words were correct.
