If we ignore problems that are bigger than the issue of the veil and focus on smaller problems, the government will become distanced from society. Currently, the law on the veil is not only criticized by those who are called supporters of optional hijab, but it is also opposed by religious individuals and some clerics.
The government must recognize what aspects of the law need to be changed during this opportunity. Will it make changes regarding the amount of fines or the length of imprisonment, or will it emphasize other aspects? Officials are likely aware that society needs such openings to be able to breathe in a calmer atmosphere. Considering the series of events, it must be said that the rationality present in the country needs to be more active.
