Every law given to Parliament must definitely go to the Guardian Council
Morteza Aghatehrani, head of the Cultural Commission of the Parliament, stated: "Any law presented to the Parliament must be referred to the Guardian Council, and if this does not happen, the law will not be considered approved. The Hijab and Chastity Law has been referred to and signed by the Guardian Council, so this law is approved. If doctors do not enforce the Hijab and Chastity Law, the Speaker of the Parliament will do so."
