It seems that the reformist front and its groups have realized the complex structure and the existential reality of power in the Islamic Republic. With past experiences, especially the unity and fate of the reformist government and the Sixth Parliament, they understand that without moderating their idealistic demands and policies and reaching a consensus with other branches and the hard and soft cores of power, as well as the top of the hierarchy, they cannot achieve significant progress. This indicates that they have learned from history.

I hope that, given the fate of the recent protests, which, under the targeted management of security and intelligence institutions, turned from convergence into divergence, all political activists prioritize realism, prudence, and the avoidance of daydreaming and deception, and speak honestly with the people about their intentions or what they have done in the past.

Before the elections, I discreetly asked the esteemed spokesperson of the reformist front, Mr. Javad Imam, whether the introduction of the front's candidates before the final list was announced by the Guardian Council was intentional; however, they did not respond, and I understand the considerations.

Nevertheless, I would like to remind you that as someone who identifies as a reformist, and it is evident that accountability to the media is one of the main pillars of democracy, you are expected to welcome questions from anyone, especially journalists and other respected media colleagues, and respond appropriately.
