Dear Mr. Rahim Safavi

The publication of Your Excellency's interview on the sidelines of the funeral of the late Afshar, which my servant Tawfiq was also present at, has offended the fans of Abatullah Hashemi Rafsanjani, and they consider it an allusion to the manner of his and even the late Afshar's death.

As you know, Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani, who was a villager born in the heart of the desert, loved Iran's water and development and spent his life to realize this goal and provide prosperity, security and peace for Iranians.

Although after his time, other policies prevailed and many of his concerns were not prioritized by others, and today dear Iran is threatened with challenges such as drought, poverty, war, etc.

You know very well that the result of the investigation into the death of Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani, despite the investigation in the Security Council, could not find the necessary strength and satisfy the family and even the president of the time, and it is still in doubt.

But know that the Hashemi family and the people are proud of how their father lived and died.

Also, in religious teachings, martyrdom is an internal matter and based on the martyr's intentions.

Although you know better that usually the place and method of martyrdom is chosen by the enemy, and one can be martyred in the swimming pool, just like the divers were martyred in the Tahami war in Arvand.
