2003, before Mr. Ahmadinejad was elected mayor

Mohammad Mohajeri in an interview with Homeland:

The year before Mr. Ahmadinejad was elected mayor, a brief session was held, and I first saw Mr. Ahmadinejad there.  There, Mr. Ahmadinejad said a phrase that is still in my mind.

At that meeting, Ahmadinejad stated that I was telling the fundamentalist friends that we could defeat the reformists in the city council elections and take over the municipality, but the fundamentalist friends did not believe themselves. Then he said, two years later, I would be the president.  From that time, he had this confidence.

Mr. Ahmadinejad has been working in the municipality of Tehran since year 3.  There was a program on television called Hot Seat, which began aired from years 1 and 2, where I played a role.

In the summer, Mr. Ahmadinejad came to the program.  The director said Mr. Ahmadinejad is doing everything you do in the municipality with a look at the upcoming elections and you are looking for a vote.

Contrary to what we had heard that Mr. Ahmadinejad was a polite and faithful man, he became very angry, angry and profane and did not allow that program to be broadcast.

I would like to say that he was not interested in doing his hand for the presidency.
