In these talks, which were mediated by Oman, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, and the US President's Special Representative for Middle East Affairs, Steve Witkoff, exchanged their respective governments' positions on issues related to Iran's peaceful nuclear program and the lifting of illegal sanctions against Iran through the Omani Foreign Minister.
