Seyyed Hassan Islami Ardakani wrote in Etemad newspaper:
In the last half century, history has taught us many lessons, especially rulers. From Ceausescu, who made himself a god in Romania, to Saddam, who considered himself the hero of the Arab nation, and Gaddafi, who considered himself no less than a prophet. This was a lesson for the rulers of the region.
The result of this inability to learn is that rulers, after seizing a territory, take all the power from it and concentrate everything in themselves and their dependents at the cost of ruining the country and the destruction of the people.
And after a few decades they are either slaughtered by angry people, like Qaddafi, or flee their country at night, like Ben Ali or Assad.
