خزعلی: پدرم معتقد بودند نباید از آقای خاتمی پشتیبانی شود/ سفارت انگلیس پول می‌داد تا کسانی روضه‌های خاصی بخوانند!

We have always faced extremists on both sides, and the enemy takes advantage of them.

Ansieh Khazali, former Deputy for Women and Family Affairs of the President:

We have always faced extremists on both sides, and the enemy takes advantage of them. Just as in the past the British embassy paid people to recite specific mourning ceremonies and incite the public against each other, today too some individuals, consciously or unconsciously, try to exacerbate divisions.

A quote from my father was mentioned by the respected child of Ayatollah Fazel in relation to Mr. Khatami.

At that time, given his cultural approach, my father believed that support should not be given to Mr. Khatami. Culturally, he was opposed and did not approve of Mr. Khatami’s style, and he remained steadfast in this opposition until the end.
