The Kayhan newspaper criticized Abbas Akhoundi's recent positions at the Reform Front conference, writing:"It is surprising that a person with such incompetence and who has caused infrastructural damages to the country's economy is allowed to speak from a position of entitlement at the Reform Front conference. If there were a few alive, intelligent, honorable, and brave people present, they should certainly have held him accountable and put him on trial, rather than sit down to listen to his fabrications."
