Kayhan: The American fire department used a bucket of yogurt and a woman’s handbag instead of a fire extinguisher to put out the fire in California.

The Kayhan newspaper wrote:

The fire department described the conditions there as “extraordinarily critical,” with tens of thousands of hectares of forests, which are a global asset, reduced to ashes along with their animals and birds. Damage has been estimated between $250 to $275 billion. They report that around 30 people have been killed and about the same number are missing. However, they are still waiting for the fire to subside so they can identify the charred remains.

Everyone saw, and the people of America were embarrassed to witness that firefighters, who in movies are equipped with the most extraordinary and up-to-date firefighting tools and can single-handedly extinguish a forest fire, were using a woman’s handbag and a bucket of milk and yogurt instead of fire extinguishers and other supposed equipment. Meanwhile, central government officials are at odds with state officials, blaming each other.
