Due to the fact that observing the obligatory hijab rule and according to the law, uncovering the hijab in public and especially taxis as a public vehicle is prohibited, the taxi drivers of the taxi fleet have been notified. In order to comply with the Shariah duties and divine limits, they should refrain from riding people without hijab.
According to the numerous text messages sent by the taxi organization to taxi drivers regarding the prohibition of providing services to people without hijab, after this, taxi drivers who pick up people without hijab will be dealt with legally by the disciplinary board of the taxi organization.
Considering the fact that taxi drivers are among the noble and vulnerable sections of the society. And they always try to serve the citizens and earn a halal livelihood from early morning until late at night. We request respectable ladies to observe Islamic customs and especially their hijab when getting into a taxi./Qazvin municipality.
