سناریوهای احتمالی رویارویی اسران و اسرائیل از نگاه استاد علوم سیاسی دانشگاه تهران/ اگر مردم فلسطین به نظام دو دولتی رای بدهند، ایران می پذیرد؟

Is it in Iran's interest to keep tensions with Israel in a limited, ping-pong conflict phase?

Kiyomarth Ashtryan, professor of political science at Tehran University, wrote in Sharq newspaper:

Is it in Iran's interest to keep tensions with Israel in a limited, ping-pong conflict phase? If a ceasefire can be reached in Gaza and Lebanon at this stage, will it be a success for Iran? Will there be partial satisfaction in accepting Resolution 1701 for Iran?

If the official position of the Islamic Republic is that elections in the Palestinian land, with the participation of all Palestinians, Jews and Christians, are the main criteria for resolving the Palestinian crisis, the inevitable question is, if the "residents" vote to separate from each other (such as the separation of the Czech Republic from Slovakia and the creation of two states), will this mean the acceptance of two states by Iran? Is the Islamic Republic's diplomatic apparatus prepared to face such a situation?
