This letter, which was initially published in the channel claiming to have hacked presidential documents—about which I have repeatedly warned regarding its content—has generated significant attention in cyberspace.

Is the lack of denial from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology or the University of Tehran part of a security strategy?

Is it particularly difficult for your ministry and its subordinate university to comment on this matter? Why do you not clearly confirm or deny its content?

More astonishing than the lack of confirmation or denial of such a letter is the silence of the chairman of the Cultural Commission of the Revolutionary Parliament.

Why has the head of the Information and News Department of the Revolutionary Parliament, who could investigate and comment with a little research, remained silent?

There is only one answer: The institutions disseminating this information have deliberately indicated that it should neither be denied nor confirmed for now, so that other media or prominent figures, knowingly or unknowingly, can remain preoccupied. Then, when the situation becomes unusually engaged with it, it will be denied, allowing the security planners to harvest the trap they set.

Is there anyone who will learn from this?

-Abdollah Abdi
