These are the words of a mother who, 15 years ago, pulled her lifeless daughter from the water. Mrs. Ghanem paused for a moment and said, "If we had a bridge, this wouldn't have happened."

Another woman from the village, referred to as Hajiyeh Khanom, says that on cold mornings when the water freezes, they have to break through the ice-covered surface of the river to get the children to school, and on rainy spring days, they risk this crossing to ensure the students arrive on time.

The people of Hajiabad village are seeking growth and prosperity. A significant part of these developments hinges on a safe route across the water. Although Mastoureh's childlike voice was silenced among the waves, a hopeful melody still sings in the ears of the village.
